Festival to be presented at FAIRFIELD HALLS

20 May IPF readers choose 10 excellent plays for shortlist
3 June At a lively meeting our reader/judges
selected 4 plays to be showcased at the Festival
quote: "one of the strongest shorlists for years!"
29 & 30 June After a lot of work, not made any easier
by not having the theatre building to work from,
we present the 27th IPF to an enthusiastic audience
We're also grateful for the enthusiasm of the Fairfield staff.
2 July Begin preparing for our next project:
a full-scale production for October...
12 July There was such a brilliant reaction to
Sean Cook's THE ROAD TO NOWHERE
at the IPF three weeks ago that it has been
chosen by Fairfield and Phoenix

1 Aug We now have a brilliant designer for the play
and one of the three actors on board .
21 Aug After visiting this year's Edinburgh Festival,
casting continues...
31 Aug Another actor confirmed. One to go...
5 Sept Interesting article in today's STAGE newspaper article
12 Sept The play is fully cast with three excellent actors
all known to local audiences..
4 Oct For the past three weeks we had some nasty computer bugs
that have prevented us updating the website.
As you see, it is now fixed and ROAD has been a great success...

We receive a letter saying that the Administration is over!
The Administrator sold the seats, lighting and sound rig
for the scandalous sum of £730.25
having rejected the Phoenix bid of £1500
(and worth considerably more!)

We're well on the way to achieving charity status
for Warehouse Phoenix Ltd and also sorting the entries
for the 2014 International Playwriting Festival
which now has its own website...check it out
